Antibacterial Agent Index scoring and visualization

AAi assessment form

6 criteria · max 50

Scoring follows the AAI point system (document Table 1). MIC refers to Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus faecalis. Time–kill uses log₁₀ CFU/mL across strains and a separate average time for all strains. Criterion 6 applies adjustments only (0 or −2 per sub-item). *MIC experiments: Mueller–Hinton medium, 35–37 °C aerobic, 16–24 h incubation, controlled inoculum, triplicates. **In vitro MIC-based. ***Time–kill: MHB, ~5×10⁵ CFU/mL, 35–37 °C, sampling e.g. 0, 2, 4, 6, 24 h, multiple MIC multiples (1×, 2×, 4× MIC).

1. Antibacterial activity (MIC-based)

Section max: 6 (MIC) + 4 (comparison) = 10 points.

2. Bacterial spectrum
3. Mechanism of action
4. Time–kill kinetics***

Section max: 6 (log reduction pattern) + 4 (time frame) = 10 points.
